Local swimming pool is located in East Maitland - 5 minute drive , it is an Olympic size.

The local golf club is located 5 minutes drive from the guesthouse called East's Leisure Golf Club. The famous Greg Norman Golf Course is located 30 minutes

drive from the guesthouse in the Wine Country Area.

The guesthouse is located opposite the Hunter River. If you would like to experience the river and the area of Morpeth we are prepare a picnic. We require 24 hours notice to arrange and prepare for you accordingly. The cost is $50.00 per person. Upon request a menu will be forward for your consideration.

Our location is ideal for the adventurous bike rider to explore the region and the many historic towns on offer. Your hosts upon check in or prior can provide directions for your consideration.

Lowanna Wellbeing Centre located 30-minute drive from the guesthouse in the picturesque Paterson Valley. The centre is designed to allow people to relax, rejuvenate, revitalise naturally and let them escape from the stress of today.

Sekt Hair and Body located 10 minute drive from guesthouse - located in High Street Maitland. Sekt offer a range of body treatments for you to enjoy while visiting the region on business or pleasure. Horse Riding is located 30 minutes away from the guesthouse in the Hunter Wine Country area or on the sand dunes of Port Stephens. For further information regarding this activity contact your hosts.

Wine Tours

Being centrally located within the Hunter region, Bronte Guesthouse is an ideal base from which to explore the Wine Country, Port Stephens or the National Parks of Barrington tops. A full range of full day tours are available.

We work with Hunter Tours. Hunter Tours showcase a perfect combination of the area's culinary and natural magnificence. To obtain further information on the tours they offer please visit www.huntertours.com.au or email info@huntertours.com.au. Hunter Tours will pick up from the guesthouse at 9.30- for a full day tour and return in the afternoon at approx 4.30pm. The cost is from $80.00 per person depending on level of tour booked , the price does include morning tea- lunch and light afternoon tea. We recommend that the tours are booked 24 hours in advance as they are popular options.

Hot Air Ballooning

Sunrise over the beautiful Hunter Valley in a hot air balloon is the perfect start to your day and to view the region from the sky. For approximately one hour you will experience a unique adventure. The guesthouse is located 35-minute drive from the launch site. To book this experience contacts the host directly for assistance and further information.
